  1. keof8eqa Said,

I will give you a hint. Bi means two and Mono means one. I hope you can elaborate from here.

  2. Hedge Witch Said,

BInocular – with 2 points of view. MONOcular – with one point of view.
It is the use of 2 (or more) view points that allow you to see distance & perspective more clearly as each of the views are from a very slightly different position.

  3. Insomniac Said,

Monocular is one-eyed vision, which gives no stereo-effect, so you have no depth-of-field to tell you the relative distance to objects. One eyed guys should stay off motorcycles!

  4. Mitchio Said,

binocular vision uses two scopes/eyes/etc. at once and monocular only one is used

  5. bennachie1 Said,

    binocular vision

    two eyes side by side

    or

    monocular vision

    one eye

This is a great site about eyes and vision
    both human and animal –

  6. C B Said,

    BINOCULAR VISION

The word binocular comes from two Latin roots, bini for double, and oculus for eye. [1] Having two eyes confers at least four advantages over having one. First, it gives a creature a spare eye in case one is damaged. Second, it gives a wider field of view. For example, a human has a horizontal field of view of approximately 200 degrees with two eyes but only 160 degrees with one.[2]. Third, it gives binocular summation in which the ability to detect faint objects is enhanced. [3] Fourth it can give stereopsis in which parallax provided by the two eyes’ different positions on the head give precise depth perception. [4] Such binocular vision is usually accompanied by singleness of vision or binocular fusion, in which a single image is seen despite each eye’s having its own image of any object. [4] Other phenomena of binocular vision include utrocular discrimination, eye dominance, allelotropia, and binocular rivalry………….

  7. Suzanna I Said,

Binocular vision means that you can see through two lenses and monocular vision means that you can only see through one lens.

  8. daniel l Said,

with binocular vision you get a 3 d and accuracy in height width and area. monocular vision is not so precise.although the monocular was the source for classes and telescopes

  9. wilde_space Said,

Bi – two, Mono – one.

Binocular vision combines the images from two spatial sources to form the final image. Monocular vision has only one source.
