Have you heard that there are new night vision lenses that they can see UFOs through now?

  2. Amy Said,

these have been around for years i got mine at the same place i got my never emptying beer mug

  3. Sune Said,

I couldn’t help but chuckle when I read your question. Never heard of it but it sounds like a hoax. I mean think about it, people are trying to prove that there ARE UFO’s out there and if these glasses were real there would be no more speculation and the military/government would be all over it.

  4. ethansoloman5000 Said,

i have not heard of these…. but i want to see a ufo!!!!! losers above me are losers!

  5. january jane Said,

Deenie…. The picture is fine but I thought the fairy one was cute, plus it seems like it fits your spirit, if that makes sense.

Hey could you repost the link you are speaking of?

Is it me or is it a slow night for the YA Alternative Science?

  6. psiexploration Said,

The video was talking about cameras that can see into the infrared spectrum. For example the Sun puts out infrared light (as well as visible spectrums of light) and this can be photographed with a filter that blocks out all spectrums of light except infrared.
The current Sony camcorders have a feature called nightshot that also allows you to record in the infrared spectrum. The problem with those is the beam (it shoots out infrared and is reflected off an object so you can record it in the dark) is limited to about 15 feet. So, you can’t see or record beyond that distance.
So in the video the objects (UFOs) must be giving off their own infrared (which is invisible to the human eye) light.

There are some spectrums of ultra violet light that we can’t see as well and they also have filters for that as well.
However, those filters are made of quartz crystal and are more expensive.

Edit: Once again skeptics don’t want people to see answers that contradict their beliefs and attempt to only allow you to see their opinions among the answers.
Perhaps censorship is allowed in the new YA skeptic science of defending their faith against contrary evidence and ideas.

Well if such technology exists then my aliens friends will know about it now. They will have to upgrade there technology to counter this new device.I do not think my alien friends will lose any sleep over this anyway.

  8. jim black Said,

I haven’t heard about it but I think that there are a lot that we are kept from finding out.

  9. Tom E Said,

Recently it has been said that UFOs are more visible in non-visible wavelengths. Good hypothesis, worth testing. I’ve never seen any UFO, but I didn’t believe in ghosts till they showed up! Happy hunting.

  10. T R Said,

I guess these would be UIREFOs (Unidentified InfraRed Emitting Flying Objects) :) I suppose that if we can look into the sky with our own eyes and see things we can’t identify, we can do the same with night vision goggles. But seeing UIREFOs should not be unexpected since infrared radiation is emitted from hot objects like jet engines or even warm objects such as birds. Warm objects stand out very well in front of a cold background in the infrared spectrum and deep-sky temperature is quite chilly indeed.

  11. Rob Said,

cool! where can i buy some?
check the link these maybe ufos??

  12. Kelly V Said,

that was awesome…..I always thought if Jelly fish in the ocean could appear so invisible …why couldn’t something in the air have the same origin….Fascinating

  13. The One Said,

I love it Deenie. So now we have something that not only doesn’t exist, but we are told that we can’t even see if exists or not…Fantastic. A bit like that God fella…hmm, fascinating.

I know that the absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, but I think people are stretching it a bit now…

EDIT: You look great btw – nice pic.

  14. Peter D Said,

I’ve seen what you’re talking about. The guy proposing that idea has only a tenuous relationship with reality.

EDIT: What a perfect phenomenon. UFOs are all over. If you don’t see them that’s because they’re *invisible*. Notice how this person has created an iron-clad phenomenon?

  15. Josh J Said,

if ur a religous person then some peolpe belive that ufo r interdimshnal beings (demons).

    p.s. i **** at spelling

  16. Fallen Angel Said,

Yes Infra Red, its common to use these days.
